Terms of Service
LAND//SCAN ("we", "us") sends you text-message alerts when property listings in Thunder Bay, Ontario match the searches you save. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
The service
We monitor public real-estate listing sources and notify you by SMS when a new listing matches your saved search. Listings are gathered from third-party public sources; we don't guarantee they're complete, accurate, current, or that you'll be notified of every matching property. Always confirm details with the listing agent or brokerage before acting. LAND//SCAN is an alert tool, not a brokerage, and we are not party to any real-estate transaction.
SMS messaging
By providing your phone number and opting in at signup, you consent to receive automated property-alert text messages at that number. Message frequency varies with your searches and the market. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out (you can also pause or delete searches in the app), or HELP for help. Opting out of texts means the service can't notify you.
Free trial & plans
New accounts include a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, you can subscribe to a paid plan (Basic or Pro) from your account. We may change features, plans, or pricing as the product evolves.
Sponsored (agent-linked) accounts
If you sign up through a real estate agent's LAND//SCAN link, your seat is sponsored by that agent at no cost to you. The sponsoring agent can see your saved search, your match activity, and whether your search has gone quiet, and may adjust your search criteria on your behalf to help refine it as your needs change. They cannot see your texts, in-app messages, or anything else about your account. You can leave a sponsored seat at any time from your account settings.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, use it unlawfully, or sign up with a phone number that isn't yours. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of (or inability to use) the service, including missed or inaccurate listing alerts.
